Porsche Unveils New Taycan GTS
Porsche has unveiled a new version of its Taycan electric sports car, the Taycan GTS. The GTS sits between the Taycan 4S and Taycan Turbo in the Taycan lineup, and offers a combination of performance and luxury. The Taycan GTS is powered by two electric motors, one on each axle, that produce a combined output of 590 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. This allows the GTS to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 155 mph. The GTS also features a number of performance-oriented upgrades, including a lowered suspension, a sportier exhaust system, and larger brakes. Inside, the GTS gets a number of luxury features, including heated and ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a Bose sound system. The Taycan GTS is available to order now, and starts at $113,300. In addition to the performance and luxury features, the Taycan GTS also gets a number of new design elements, including a unique front bumper, black exterior accents, and GTS badging. The Taycan GTS is the latest addition to Porsche’s growing lineup of electric vehicles. The company has already launched the Taycan sedan, Taycan Cross Turismo, and Taycan 4S Sport Turismo. Porsche plans to launch a number of new electric vehicles in the coming years, including a battery-powered version of the 718 sports car.
