Tim Hortons’ high prices in South Korea have drawn criticism from local consumers who say that the prices are much higher than in Canada. A medium-size cup of black coffee is 3,900 won in South Korea, while the same is sold in Canada for $1.83. Some consumers say that the price gap is unacceptably high, and that it goes against the country’s rising trend around low-priced coffee brands.
